The Second International Queer Death Studies Workshop
Coming to terms with death, dying and mourning differently?
Within the inter/cross-disciplinary tradition of Death Studies, death is investigated as a multifaceted phenomenon, historically as well as in various contemporary contexts. This workshop aims to explore if and how queer theory and queer perspectives can help us rethink death, dying, remains, afterlife, mourning and the life-death dichotomy. The event is organised by GEXcel International Collegium for Advanced Transdisciplinary Gender Studies in collaboration with the Queer Death Studies Network.
