NORA CfP: Nordic LGBTQ Histories
In this issue we explore Nordic LGBTQ histories. As we would like to present both macro and micro studies, we welcome contributions on both isolated topics, including personal stories, local incidents and pivotal historical moments, like scandals and media sensations, and general overviews, including theoretical and historiographical contributions.
We are interested not just in the field of history, but also anthropology, medicine, literature, sociology and law, particularly the legal history of homosexuality and transgenderism in the five Nordic countries, including the Faroe Islands, Greenland, the Sapmi Nation, and the Ã…land Islands.

The issue wants to present a broad picture of ongoing research on Nordic LGBTQ histories and we are interested in differences and similarities between the Nordic countries. The scope of the special issue is transdisciplinary and we encourage intersectional approaches where sexuality and gender are investigated as interrelated with, among other areas, questions of ethnicity, class, age, disabi I ity, national ity, race and racialization.
