Dato: 18.09.2019  Tid: 10:00-16:30
Sted: Brussels, Europeisk
This international symposium provides an invaluable opportunity to discuss the causes of human trafficking and migrant smuggling and to study multi-agency approaches to prevent it.
Participants will have the chance to share new ideas to offer support and protections to victims of human trafficking. Public Policy Exchange welcomes EU officials, stakeholders, legal practitioners and other responsible authorities to attend the symposium, which promises a thought-provoking and topical discussion.

Delegates will:
• Learn from key stakeholders the current trends of trafficking in human beings and migrant smuggling
• Recognize the warning signs of suspicious human trafficking victimization
• Analyse specific age and gender-based measures in anti-trafficking actions
• Examine best practices of human trafficking recording and prevention
• Consider ways to criminalise and disrupt traffickers’ business model
• Discuss the importance of partnership work and how to improve and make more effective multi-agency strategies
• Explore new ways to facilitate access to Criminal Justice and Social Care systems
• Find new models to offer support to victims and ensure their safe resettlement

We would like to advise you that we offer a 20% reduction off the standard delegate registration fee (subject to type of organisation and terms and conditions) for registrations received by the 21st August 2019. Do feel free to circulate this information to relevant colleagues within your organisation.
