Call for Papers for *Educators Queering Academia: Critical Memoirs.
Call for chapter essays for the edited collection tentatively titled* Educators Queering Academia: Critical Memoirs*, which will serve as a signature volume for the recently launched Palgrave series “Queer Studies and Education.”
Drawing from any number of critical theoretical perspectives, and open to a broad range of methodological approaches, we welcome essays that explore the experiences of educators, scholars, and other cultural workers doing queer work in academia—across teaching, research, and/or administration—as this work speaks to the specific context of the field of education. Queer is not relegated to LGBTQGV people, but is inclusive of any variety of experience that transcends what has become subsumed by socially and even viable politically accepted categories for gender and sexual orientation. Chapter essays should range between 5,000-7,000 words.
