Course: Body, Culture, Materiality
Based on discussions of studying culture, technology and affect, and the material turn in feminist theory, the course discusses bodily transformations of the present.
Feminist cultural studies bring feminist sensibilities and critiques to a wide range of cultural phenomena and social practices.T
his course builds on a broad understanding of feminist studies of culture and is organized around three central themes: “body”, “culture”, and “materiality”.
