Research Officer (Gendered Peace)
We seek a post-doctoral Research Officer to support the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co Investigator (Co-I) on the ERC-funded project ‘Gendered Peace’ in the fulfilment of project deliverables, carrying out independent original research and running research activities as required for the effective and efficient delivery of the project.
The postholder will have a PhD in international relations, conflict studies, peace & security, or gender studies and will have undertaken research and published on gender and conflict and/or women, peace and security. They will have demonstrable knowledge of the UN’s Women, Peace and Security agenda, feminist research methods and relevant fieldwork experience. Multidisciplinary research skills and an understanding of the framework of international law relating women’s human rights would be an advantage.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
